The Engine
The z31 had a single overhead cam v6 that was either turbocharged or naturally aspirated. It put out around 205 and 200 horsepower and around 200 ib/ft of torque. Some models also came with an inline six turbocharged or naturally aspirated engine. This engines technology grew and became very well known for its reliability for power. This is true as the same v6 engine is still being used today by the nissan's 350z and 370z. These engines are probably more modern with better everything and are even more reliable as they don't have turbochargers but still put out amounts more horsepower than their predecessors.
Interior
Here is an example of the 50th anniversary interior but it is still similar with some slight changes. The gauge cluster is no longer analog but rather digital! For a car made in the 1980's it can really have some crazy technology that still might amaze people today. Leather is a main portion of the interior but with hints of alcantara or suede. The dash is lined with plastic and the sound system is a standard tape deck with radio. The middle console has the gear shifter, storage, radio, a/c, and also a suspension stiffness switch.
